Aggtrans is seeking a talented Project / Field Support Specialist to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth, efficiency, and quality goals while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

Project / Field Support works hand in hand with the commercial sales team to achieve the company's growth, efficiency, and quality goals. Their primary responsibility is to provide real-time job site information to Aggtrans sales and dispatch teams. The project manager assists with material and site issues, samples, and logistics. The project manager also assists in acquiring new projects and customers, directing leads to the sales team. The Aggtrans PM oversees dirt transport and disposal and assists in coordinating soil import and export on building sites. Identifying disposal resources, arranging soil disposals, and coordinating internal and external efforts to adhere to company soil management protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve outlined sales budgets.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Assist in job pre-production planning in coordination with the Sales Team/Reps.
  • Conduct field scouting to identify new project opportunities.
  • Visit ongoing projects to ensure job performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate leads and direct them to the sales team.
  • Coordinate logistics related to project management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Construction/Transportation industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Applications and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of soil management protocols and logistics is desirable.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

The Stone Store has an immediate opening for yard help at our facility in Harmans, MD. This job includes but is not limited to assisting customers, running heavy equipment, cleaning our facility, bagging sand and gravel products, weighing and loading stone material, as well as building orders for shipment. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to move up. We are looking for a high energy highly motivated individual who is looking for long term employment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work in a safe manner and follow OSHA guidelines.
  • Reliable attendance and willing to work in a team environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be willing to work over-time and weekends.

  • Reliable transportation.

Aggtrans seeks an experienced Commercial Sales Representative to join our sales department. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new customers and project opportunities as well as working with the team to ensure growth.

Job Description:

Inside Commercial Sales Representative provides direct support to the Account Manager and team in the sale of products and services to existing accounts and new customers. The inside sales rep is responsible for sales and quoting operations, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. Inside Sales enables the team’s success through RFQ response, executing order delivery, and providing quality customer service. Inside sales is also responsible for assisting in project research and producing sales opportunities through vetted proposals and qualified contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales team to achieve outlined sales budgets.
  • Lead field sales efforts and support the account manager and inside sales team in customer commion, quote following, and relationship development.
  • Conduct in-person prospecting through site visits, office visits, and networking
  • Research and report on new sales opportunities
  • Build and develop relationships with existing accounts, promoting sales growth
  • Ensure customer service and satisfaction through public relations
  • Manage projects, including sample delivery, quarry visits, and material selection
  • Maintain trackable activity through mapping software
  • Keep a CRM system up-to-date

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success and knowledge in the bulk aggregate materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Applications other relevant tools.

Aggtrans & The Stone Store is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing and eager to learn and grow within our organization. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with our Marketing & Events Director to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Support inbound and outbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in areas such as event planning, advertising, email activities, search engine marketing, graphic web design, search engine optimization and, content development.
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, and digital content.
  • Collaborate with web team to provide fresh content regularly, along with ideas based on web analytics to enhance our customer's web experience.
  • Providing support for corporate events, including set up, tear down, registration, creating literature, event layouts, and more.
  • Assisting with company apparel and promotional/branding items.
  • Maintain the physical and digital filing systems / assets for marketing collateral.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in MS Office. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience managing CRM systems _ working knowledge of a database program such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience working independently, as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment.
  • Experience with social media management and email marketing is a plus.
